Product Specialist – Vendor Data Governance

Responsible for initial set-up and ongoing management of master data governance processes and operations. Successfully implementing and maintaining data for our vast product portfolio via AS400 and master data management tools. This position is the tactical focal point for data maintenance and requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support and ensure operational efficiency of the organization.

What will you do?

  • Ongoing entry/maintenance/validation of master data for new and existing products

  • Working within the business to ensure the accuracy and integrity of master data elements including the ability to timely troubleshoot any data issues.

  • Respond to requests from stakeholders for changes to, or creation of master data records, and managing the requests through a formal process of validation and approval

  • Work with multiple software applications such as AS400, MS Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook to support daily master data functions

What will you bring?

  • Understanding of master data and impact on inbound/outbound procedures and performance

  • Ability to multi-task and work with minimum supervision

  • Detailed oriented •Excellent problem solving skills

  • Self-motivated and energetic

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • AS400 experience would be an asset

  • Fluency in both French and English is an asset
