Perplexity is looking for a Quality Assurance Tester to join our small team revolutionizing the way people search and interact with the internet. Your passion and diligence will be critical to ensure a high quality product.

You will work closely with product management, engineering and support teams. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and writing skills, an eagerness to learn, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and analyze the existing product as well as new features
  • Detect bugs and UI issues on a variety of devices, browsers, and operating systems
  • Work with product management and engineering to debug and resolve issues
  • Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts

Qualifications

  • Diligent approach to testing and QA
  • Organization and communication skills
  • Understanding of AI products, including prompting
  • Ability to learn new software tools quickly
  • Understanding of user needs and situations
  • 4+ years of industry experience

The cash compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $130,000.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including, experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
 
Equity: In addition to the base salary, equity is part of the total compensation package.
