Our client, FLiiP, is reshaping the fitness industry through a cutting-edge, all-in-one SaaS platform built for commercial gyms and multi-location fitness operators. Their solution helps streamline operations, centralize communication, and significantly boost member retention.

With more than $4M CAD in seed funding and as a participant in the Google for Startups Accelerator, FLiiP is experiencing rapid growth across North America.

The role

FLiiP is looking for a Senior Product Owner who thrives in fast-paced environments, brings strong product ownership mindset, and is passionate about solving real-world customer problems.

This is a hands-on role with end-to-end ownership of the product lifecycle, ideal for a Product Owner with at least 3 years of experience in B2B SaaS or startup environments looking to take strategic initiative and help shape a growing product.

Working closely with engineering, design, operations, and leadership, the successful candidate will lead high-impact product initiatives from discovery through delivery, while structuring and scaling product processes and introducing AI-powered methods.

Key responsibilitiesProduct strategy & ownership
  • Own the full product lifecycle, from discovery to launch to continuous iteration.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify product opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to align initiatives with business objectives.
  • Leverage AI tools for research, discovery, and analysis (e.g., customer feedback, usage trends).
Data-driven decision-making
  • Define, monitor, and analyze KPIs and product performance.
  • Use insights and behavioral data to inform decisions and continuously improve the user experience.
  • Prioritize product features based on value, effort, and business impact.
Cross-functional collaboration
  • Partner daily with engineering, design, customer support, and ops teams.
  • Lead sprint rituals (backlog refinement, planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
  • Act as a clear communication bridge between technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Work hands-on with a UX/UI designer to bring ideas to life.
Discovery & customer centricity
  • Identify and validate customer problems using structured discovery methods.
  • Translate user needs and business goals into clear product requirements.
  • Drive innovation focused on usability, automation, and long-term scalability.
Process & culture
  • Help bring structure to product operations — improving workflows, prioritization, and team alignment.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, ownership, and learning.

Requirements

Essential requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of product ownership or product management experience in B2B SaaS or fast-moving startup environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage full product cycles from ideation to delivery.
  • Strong discovery skills with a customer problem-first approach.
  • Fluent in French and English (essential for internal and external communication).
  • Proficiency with Agile methodologies and backlog/sprint management.
  • Comfort with AI tools and a passion for integrating AI into product strategy.
  • Strategic thinking combined with a structured, systems-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to rally teams and align stakeholders in times of uncertainty.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with the fitness/wellness industry is a plus.
  • Background in product-led growth, CRM, or self-service platforms.
  • Experience working in high-growth environments or scaling startups.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-driven workflows or data-oriented product development.

Benefits
  • Competitive compensation (based on experience), with 50% coverage of group health insurance premiums.
  • Comprehensive health & wellness support, including health benefits, fitness allowance (gym memberships, classes, team sports), and a $900/year telecommunications allowance.
  • Hybrid role based in Canada, with flexibility and autonomy, and only 1 day/month required at the Brossard office.
  • Opportunity to make a direct impact in a large, underserved market within a fast-growing, AI-driven company.
  • Close collaboration with leadership and strong backing from investors (recent CAD 4M fundraising), with a culture rooted in fitness, health, and innovation.
  • Dynamic, close-knit team that values speed, experimentation, boldness, and continuous learning in a supportive environment.
