The Job At-A-Glance:

Today, one out of 10 digital banking customers in America leverages our high-performing, flexible platform. Our Software Delivery team is looking for a talented Product Owner to serve as our deployment manager and drive our portfolio to make it easier and faster to develop and deploy new software. With more than 70,000 seamless deployments under our belt, we are transforming how we deliver software. If you are excited by the prospect of turning this vision into a reality, let’s get to work building the future.

Q2’s Software Delivery engineers are engaged, motivated, and dedicated individuals who love to solve complex problems. While we design and build sustainable production systems that create simple, smart, and reliable experiences for our customers, we are also at the helm of managing Q2’s largest initiative – reducing the time it takes our customers to reap value from our innovation. We play a pivotal role in delighting our customers, and you will be in a unique position to influence our software delivery lifecycle strategy, enhance our platform capabilities, and drive seamless updates across the organization.

Moreover, this is a high-profile customer-facing role, so your strong communication skills and support mindset are important. If you’re product-focused, scrappy, driven, and a great problem solver – you’ll feel right at home on our team.

A Typical Day:

  • Work with Platform Engineering leadership to develop and effectively prioritize our roadmap
  • Collaborate with technical SMEs to understand, anticipate, and resolve the risks and challenges of making broad changes across our complex architecture and variable configurations
  • Facilitate version selection and testing with our Software Engineering counterparts
  • Partner with project managers and other delivery groups to schedule updates

  • Support notification of our customers' pre/post update
  • Interface with external customers and internal teams about update questions and requests
  • Validate that the updates scheduled were delivered and manage the error budget
  • Ensure timely triage of potential issues with software delivered via seamless updates
  • Partner with clients and internal partners to identify, build and measure capability that meets business goals
  • Develop and drive service performance metrics
