Please note - we are hiring for two Product Owners: One role will focus on the Risk Assist program and one will focus on the Fraud and UW Experience program.

The Product Owner for Risk Assist and/or Fraud/UW Experience, has the authority to make decisions which impact the scope and direction of the deliverables, ensuring that all work being done provides business value and is in line with the core principals and strategy for the system.
How you will create impact:
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to resolve product issues and create seamless integration
- Applying Agile delivery principles to drive the delivery of business value, communicating progress, eliciting feedback and enabling stakeholder reviews to validate processes
- Partnering with management to provide leadership and prioritize the backlog for the team to ensure capabilities are in scope, on time and of high quality
- Serving as the primary source of information for the team, delivering details of the items and offering clear definitions of the expected capability, the intended value to the customer and all acceptance criteria
- Representing the department by owning issues, forming solutions, and defining outcomes to effectively deliver on the Product roadmap.
- You have minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Product Owner.
- You have completed a post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or have related Insurance industry experience.
- For Risk Assist/Fraud - Experience with Pricing and Business Intelligence modelling.
- For UW Experience – Experience with insurance/financial services industry processes and practices.
- Experience with Guidewire suite (preferably PolicyCenter) is a requirement.
- Having an Insurance designations like FCIP, CIP is an asset.
- You have a strong understanding and demonstrate experience working in an agile environment.
- Having or working towards the Change Management, Certified Scrum Master, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other professional designation is an asset.
- This position primarily works with majority non-francophone groups, and teams located outside of Québec, and requires proficiency in English. The essential non-French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.

Expected salary range $91,058 - $141,000+.
The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
