Temporary position for 15 months.
In the Risk Data Governance Administrative Department, you’ll be part of the team in charge of updating credit risk tools. As a Credit Risk Product Owner, you’ll be leading the short-term roadmap for four squads dedicated to rolling out a new behavioural risk rating model and implementing a risk rating calculation engine. More specifically, you will be required to:
Define and promote the product vision, in addition to managing the backlog for the squads responsible for transforming the behavioral risk rating model.
Work with development teams in agile mode, and clearly explain objectives, business rules and technical requirements.
Conduct a preliminary needs analysis for the products you’re responsible for.
Coordinate work with English-speaking suppliers and oversee the integration of PowerCurve/Fiserv.
Prioritize features, define functional requirements and ensure ongoing support until delivery.
Ensure the quality, consistency and alignment of products within the context of credit risk management.
Help develop and conduct test strategies and test cases.
Help develop and update policies, standards, models and programs that support the unit’s strategic mandates.
Identify complex issues, carry out informed assessments and make strategic recommendations to back changing risk practices and market developments.

What you bring to the table
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, math or statistics
At least four years of relevant experience as a product owner
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Experience with development teams and ability to understand coding concepts
Experience in multidisciplinary project management (IT, risk, business)
Strong communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with english-speaking partners, members and/or clients
Proficiency in the agile approach
Knowledge of risk management practices
Knowledge of the PowerCurve application or risk rating calculation engine
