GHGSat is a global leader in emissions intelligence, pioneering the use of satellite imagery to monitor and measure greenhouse gas emissions since 2016. By partnering with industry leaders, GHGSat leverages proprietary satellite data, coupled with aircraft imagery and public data to provide unprecedented insights into the global emissions landscape.  

As GHGSat continues its journey to accelerate decarbonization to achieve ambitious climate goals, we are looking for an experienced and strategic Product Marketing Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Product Strategy team lead you will be responsible for driving the success of our products by developing and executing comprehensive go-to-market strategies. As a key member of the Product team, you will collaborate closely with product, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to define product positioning, support new product launches, and help drive adoption and engagement. 

This position is part of a newly formed team dedicated to developing the product discipline that will drive GHGSat into its next successful phase.  

Key Responsibilities:

1. Go-to-Market Planning & Strategy: 

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for product launches and updates, ensuring alignment with business objectives and target audience needs. 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless product launches. 

2. Product Positioning and Messaging: 

  • Craft compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with target customers and differentiates our products in the market. 
  • Ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints, including marketing campaigns, sales tools, and website content. 

3. Market Analysis and Insights: 

  • Support Product Strategy with market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics. 
  • Use insights to refine product positioning and messaging. 

4. Sales Enablement: 

  • Develop and deliver sales enablement materials, including presentations, battle cards, and FAQs. 
  • Contribute to training materials used to educate stakeholders and sales teams on product features, benefits, and competitive positioning to ensure they can effectively engage with prospects. 

5. Customer Engagement and Advocacy: 

  • Work closely with customer success and sale teams to gather customer insights and success stories. 
  • Develop customer-centric content to highlight the value of our products; create client-facing product support materials, e.g. public facing release notes and release newsletters by segment 

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

  • Act as a bridge between product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on goals and initiatives. 
  • Represent the voice of the customer in internal discussions and product development. 

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 
    • 7+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, product management, or a related role, ideally within the technology sector (experience in the space or climate sector is a strong asset).
  • Proven track record of successfully launching technical products in competitive markets. 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable strategies. 
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with experience in crafting compelling narratives for diverse audiences. 
  • Proficiency with analytics tools such as Excel, CRM systems like Salesforce, marketing automation platforms, or other relevant tools. 
  • Collaborative team player with strong project management skills and attention to detail. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and content marketing. 
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
