We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to cut through the noise, uncover market insights, and inform product strategy in one of the fastest-growing and most competitive AI markets. If you thrive in a 0-1 environment, are ready to dig into the AI agent market - where hype often moves faster than reality, competition is fierce, and clarity is rare - and know how to turn insights into tangible impact, then this is where you belong.

Our research-driven Product Marketing Manager (PMM) will bridge market insights with go-to-market execution. This role is critical in defining the future of AI agents and identifying market trends, competitive shifts, and customer needs to shape product direction. You’ll work at the intersection of market research, product strategy, and GTM execution, driving category creation in one of the fastest-moving industries.

You’ll dig deep into market dynamics, competitive insights, and customer pain points—then translate those findings into clear positioning, compelling narratives, and impactful GTM strategies.

This position reports onsite in our San Mateo office at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do

  • Drive market intelligence: Conduct deep research on the AI agent space, identifying unmet customer needs, competitive gaps, and emerging trends to inform product direction
  • Turn insights into action: Translate market findings into strategic recommendations that shape product development and GTM motions for maximum impact
  • Validate and refine positioning: Collaborate with Product and Sales teams to test hypotheses, ensuring our roadmap and GTM strategy align with real customer demand
  • Build a continuous feedback loop: Establish processes to systematically capture, synthesize, and operationalize market and customer insights, ensuring ongoing alignment between the product roadmap and evolving market needs.

Who you are:

  • You thrive in 0-1 environments, where speed, iteration, and adaptability define success
  • You move fast, with a strong bias for action and continuous learning
  • You operate with clarity in ambiguity. You turn open-ended challenges into structured opportunities
  • You are a builder and a strategist. You are equally skilled at shaping market narratives and executing with precision
  • You’re energized by building from scratch, shaping new markets, and defining category leadership
  • You believe in Sendbird’s mission of building the AI workforce of tomorrow

What you bring:

  • 5+ years in product marketing, experience with AI a plus
  • Proven ability to conduct deep market research and translate insights into product and GTM strategies.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, aligning Product, Sales, and Go-to-Market teams around key insights and opportunities
  • Experience in 0-1 products, building from the ground up—from market research to positioning to launch

Why join us?

  • Join one of the fastest-growing and most transformative spaces—AI agents are reshaping how businesses operate, and you’ll be at the forefront of it
  • Tackle one of the most exciting 0-1 challenges, building a category-defining product from the ground up
  • Have a direct impact on product direction, messaging, and go-to-market execution
  • Work with a team of builders, move fast with a high-velocity team where speed, experimentation, and bold thinking define success
  • This role will include medical benefits in addition to the hourly rate
