We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner with a maritime industry background and extensive knowledge of the TM Master product. This role is critical to ensuring that the TM Master product evolves in line with the complex operational needs of modern shipping companies.

You will take responsibility for key TM Master Modules and act as the bridge between stakeholders, customers, and engineering teams—owning the product backlog for those modules.
Working with the Senior Product Manager, you will collaborate in shaping product strategy, defining priorities, and delivering high-impact features that improve operational efficiency, compliance, safety and vessel performance.
We are looking for someone who is genuinely curious about the problems maritime operators face, rigorous about how they make decisions, and comfortable working with ambiguity
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Delivery
- Own and manage the TM Master product backlog, ensuring clear prioritisation aligned with business goals
- Translate product strategy into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
- Work closely with engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality releases
- Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and review sessions
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with maritime customers (ship managers, superintendents, crew) to gather insights and validate requirements
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring solutions address real operational challenges onboard and ashore
- Align with internal stakeholders including Sales, Support, and Implementation teams
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Contribute to and execute the product roadmap for TM Master
- Identify opportunities for innovation in maintenance, compliance, procurement, and vessel performance
- Balance short-term delivery with long-term product vision
Domain Expertise & Compliance
- Leverage knowledge of maritime operations (planned maintenance systems, safety, compliance)
- Ensure product alignment with industry regulations (e.g., ISM, class requirements, audits)
- Stay informed on trends in digital shipping, IoT, and fleet optimisation
Data & Continuous Improvement
- Define and track product KPIs (adoption, performance, customer satisfaction)
- Use data and user feedback to iterate and improve features
- Champion continuous improvement and product excellence
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Product Ownership & Delivery
- 5+ years experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a B2B environment
- Strong track record of working in Agile/Scrum teams and delivering complex software products at scale
- Proven ability to manage and prioritise large, complex backlogs
Maritime Domain Expertise
- Solid experience within the maritime industry
- Extensive knowledge of Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) and associated operational workflows, in particular TM Master.
- Strong understanding of vessel operations, compliance, and maintenance practices
TM Master / Product Knowledge
- Extensive hands-on knowledge of the TMv2 product and its modules, data structures, and workflows
- Ability to translate real-world maritime use cases into product requirements and improvements
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Competent in using SQL Manager and writing queries for data analysis and validation
- Comfortable working with data to support product decisions and troubleshoot issues
Stakeholder Communication
- Strong ability to present user workflows, concepts, and solutions clearly to stakeholders and customers
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Experience (Highly Desirable)
- Experience in the maritime industry, particularly with: TM Master Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS), Fleet management software, Shipboard/offshore operations
- Familiarity with maritime PMS system integrations with ERP, freight, CBM and ecommerce platforms
- Understanding of vessel operations, dry docking, and compliance workflows
