Join our team as a Product Manager for Enterprise Email at JP Morgan Chase and take on a pivotal role that drives innovation and transformation at a global scale.
As a Product Manager within the Enterprise Email team at JP Morgan Chase, you will be instrumental in promoting innovation and transformation on a global scale. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee our enterprise email platform, a crucial part of our Collaboration and Communication Product Line. This role extends beyond mere technology management; it involves shaping the future of communication for a global workforce of over 300,000 employees and a diverse client base. You will be at the core of our firm's operations, managing infrastructure that processes millions of emails daily. Your efforts will facilitate seamless communication and collaboration across 1,200 applications, supporting critical business functions for our entire organization. This role offers you the chance to make a significant impact on a global scale.
Job responsibilities

  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and deliver value. Prioritizes the product backlog & maintain a vision for the product
  • Helps with overall product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks.
  • Measure product KPIs and success measures by understanding the target outcomes and tracking our progress against targets.
  • Working collaboratively with Engineering teams to ensure roadmaps strike the right balance between business delivery, technology enablement and operations work
  • Advocating for, and deeply understanding, the needs of the product's customers
  • Works closely with users and key stakeholders to drive adoption and transform business workflows
  • Conducts market research and tracks industry developments understands implications to product vision and strategy
  • Defines and manages the product's business metrics, including cost, feature & functionality, risk posture and reliability
  • Lead by example, exhibiting robust risk measures while advocating for adherence throughout the development lifecycle


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years sxperience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Experience in Technology product management role within enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with common technical concepts, architectures, and cloud-based principles is critical, but hands on development experience is not essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts to senior management and customers
  • Experience providing roadmaps, product overviews, reports, backlog and documentation for enterprise technology solutions
  • Understanding of the end-to-end software development process, including product strategy development, customer engagement, architecture design, engineering, implementation, and operations
  • Knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies
  • An understanding of software development methodologies and practices (SDLC, Agile, Scrum, etc.)
  • Experience of building strong, cohesive partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with a variety of partners and stakeholders
  • Experience writing technical stories in JIRA/confluence using industry standard notations
