Reporting to the Head of Product, you will define the on-device experience that quietly empowers users to take control of their energy. Your perspective will help make invisible systems feel intuitive and indispensable.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead discovery efforts to tackle unknowns, test assumptions, prioritize impactful solutions and define requirements.
  • Ensure seamless interoperability between the OS platform, and apps releases for consistent user experience and performance.
  • Evolve the embedded software operational logic based on real-time inputs, external conditions, and user behavior.
  • Align OS platform capabilities with prosumer needs including behind-the-meter optimization of energy assets and market participation.
  • Manage the OS platform lifecycle including updates, versioning, and backward compatibility across systems.
  • Integrate electricity rates, consumption data, and usage metrics into the household digital twins to scale personalized energy optimization.
  • Collaborate with software and hardware engineering teams to align platform initiatives with real-world use cases.

Key requirements

  • 5 years of experience working on digital products as a product manager or product owner
  • Understanding of edge computing and distributed systems integration.
  • Proven ability to design features that empower users to optimize energy use.
  • Experience leading platform initiatives across multiple teams or organizations.

  • Communicates clear, persuasive feedback that reflects real-world customer reactions. 
  • Maintains a platform-first mindset that prioritizes user impact over internal technical bias.
  • Educational background in Systems, Computer, Electrical, or Energy Systems Engineering.
