As a product leader, your role is to design, implement and manage a line of high-performing products that meet the needs of members and clients. You are responsible for developing, pricing, improving, implementing and promoting the products offered, based on the needs of members, clients and the distribution networks, and in line with market trends and Desjardins Group’s target position. You lead different stakeholders with respect to development projects and complex strategic initiatives of an innovative nature, in relation to the product line. You make recommendations on the development and execution of initiatives with a high degree of operational and conceptual complexity that have an impact on the business sector’s positions. This requires analytical skills and comprehensive, detailed knowledge of the line of business and the organization. You interact with a large number of stakeholders working in other fields to understand and communicate the issues and to influence decision-making with respect to improving the product line. More specifically, you will be required to :

Identify and make improvements to the product offer based on member and client needs, business priorities and market developments.

Define an innovative and engaging target vision for the product line and create the mid- to long-term roadmap in line with the organization's strategic priorities.

Monitor the competition and market developments, target opportunities to develop the offer, anticipate business impacts, recommend strategies and implement initiatives.

Provide leadership in defining the product's directions and represent the target client experience for the value-added services offered by the product line.

Monitor the product line's commercial results and financial performance to target opportunities and recommend approaches to optimize the offer.

Perform sound management of the operational, reputational and financial risks associated with the product offer.

Take steps to make sure the product line and any improvements comply with laws and regulations and make the necessary recommendations to the decision-making bodies.

Represent the team’s position to the decision-making bodies, partners or external organizations.

What you bring to the table

Bachelor's degree in a related field

A minimum of six years of relevant experience
