As a Product Designer at Poka, you can expect to join a cross-functional team and together, you will work on the continuous improvement of our product. You will be responsible for identifying user needs, developing concepts and delivering the best experience to factory workers on multiple platforms.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Solve complex design problems from start to finish;
- Actively participate in the definition of the problem in collaboration with the Product Managers, the team leaders and the design team;
- Translate user data and requirements from research and analysis into interactive mock-ups and prototypes to quickly assess the viability of ideas;
- Conduct user tests, heuristic audits and customer validations to evaluate concepts and functionalities developed
- Design detailed flows, high-fidelity mock-ups, interactions and specifications required to make the solution a reality;
- Collaborate closely with engineers as the team builds, iterates and ships ideas;
- Collaborate with designers across all teams to continuously improve Poka's design processes, principles and tools.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or multimedia design;
- 6+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer;
- Experience in digital product and system design;
- Experience in native iOS design, an asset;
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Willingness to work on complex design and system problems;
- In-depth knowledge of Figma or other software such as Sketch, Axure, Adobe XD, etc;
- Portfolio demonstrating concrete examples of digital product design;
- Excellent English and French, spoken and written.
