Product Assistant - Fashion Accessories

The Opportunity

This is a 13 month contract role—and a true gateway into a career in fashion.

If you’re equal parts creative and analytical, this role is for you.

Step into the world of accessories—where it’s all about belts, handbags, jewelry, and the details that complete the look. You’ll support the buying and product team while getting hands-on exposure to product development and fashion design, from concept to final product.

Think trend-driven, fast-moving, and detail-focused. You’ll play a key role in bringing collections to life—balancing aesthetics, product strategy, and execution.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Product Management team in building and selecting seasonal programs
• Contribute to product development across accessories (belts, handbags, jewelry), from concept through to execution
• Assist in analyzing best sellers and product performance with the Product Manager
• Participate in fit sessions and product reviews as needed
• Review photo samples, labels, and product details to ensure accuracy across all materials
• Maintain and update key tools and documents (lookbooks, purchase orders, product files)
• Own product data in internal systems—ensuring everything is accurate and up to date
• Prepare for and participate in cross-functional meetings

What Makes You a Fit

• College degree in fashion or a related field
• 1+ year of relevant experience in product, buying, or a related area
• Bilingual (English/French), with the ability to work with vendors worldwide
• Passion for fashion, with a strong interest in accessories and product development
• Eye for design, detail, and trends
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
