Job Title: Product Analyst 

Report to: Product Management Team Lead

Location: In or close proximity to Montreal; or US Eastern time zone 

About the Role:

We are looking for a strategic and data-driven Product Analyst to join our team. This role is essential in supporting product strategy & management through various types of business analysis, including client insights & usage, competitive intelligence, product performance analysis.  You will also help the Product team by facilitating our product processes and roadmap planning.  

You will collaborate cross-functionally to support operational excellence of the team and that our products are well-positioned, continuously improved, and aligned with business goals and customer needs. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of product launches, feature adoption and commercial lead generation efforts to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. 
  • Client Adoption & Feedback Analysis: Evaluate client usage patterns and NPS/CSAT feedback to inform product enhancements and drive adoption. 
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct ongoing and ad-hoc competitive research to support segment strategy and product positioning. 
  • Roadmap & Prioritization Support: Facilitate the quarterly prioritization process, maintain and update product roadmaps, and track/report on roadmap deliverables. 
  • Team KPI Tracking: Develop and maintain reporting frameworks to monitor team performance against key metrics and goals. 
  • Presentations and Reporting:  support Product organization on presentations and analysis using powerpoint, excel, and other workflow tools; own and report out on team KPIs and status of deliverables intended for senior leadership.  
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as a connector between Product and other teams, ensuring analytics, insights, and competitive intelligence inform business decisions. 

Requirements

This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially minded, but who also thrives on collaboration and problem-solving. We’re looking for someone who: 

  • Brings rigor and structure to product analysis but isn’t afraid to challenge assumptions. 
  • Enjoys digging into usage data and market trends to uncover the “why” behind numbers. 
  • Is motivated by having a direct impact on product strategy and customer outcomes. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • 2+ years of experience in product analytics, business intelligence, or a related role. 
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel), visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and powerpoint. 
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. 
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and supporting product development processes; understanding product management lifecycle. 

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics. 
  • Understanding of customer journey mapping and user research, market segmentation and sizing. 
  • Knowledge of SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, churn, retention, activation) and digital product ecosystems.
