The Procurement Business Analyst plays a key role in optimizing procurement performance, improving sourcing processes, and enabling data‑driven decision-making. This role partners closely with Procurement, Finance, Suppliers, and Operational teams to analyse spend patterns, evaluate supplier performance, identify savings opportunities, and support the delivery of strategic procurement initiatives.

Spend & Performance Analytics
Analyse spend, supplier performance, and procurement KPIs to surface trends, risks, and opportunities.
Maintain accurate dashboards and reports (e.g., savings, compliance, service levels).
Ensure data integrity across procurement systems and reporting tools.
Process & System Improvement
Map and optimise procurement processes to increase efficiency and compliance.
Support enhancements to S2P/P2P systems, workflows, and digital procurement tools.
Identify and implement automation and continuous improvement opportunities.
Supplier & Category Insight
Provide analytical insight to category managers on cost drivers, market trends, and supplier performance.
Support sourcing events with data-driven evaluations and comparisons.
Contribute to category strategies through robust commercial and operational analysis.
Financial & Commercial Analysis
Build financial models and business cases to support sourcing decisions.
Track savings, benefit realisation, and contractual compliance.
Support procurement budgeting, forecasting, and spend governance.
Stakeholder Reporting & Engagement
Produce clear, compelling insight packs for leadership and governance forums.
Translate complex data into simple recommendations for non‑technical stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, finance, or business analysis.
Strong data analysis and modelling skills (Excel, Power BI, SQL).
Experience with procurement systems (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar).
Understanding of procurement processes (S2P, P2P, category management).
Knowledge of contract structures, TCO analysis, and commercial models.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting large or complex procurement environments.
Professional procurement qualification (CIPS or equivalent).
Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all data analysis and governance activities.
Integrity: Upholding the highest standards of ethical behavior in procurement and data management practices.
Adaptability: Ability to manage change and drive continuous improvement in compliance and data governance processes.
Collaboration: Working effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
