Your Contribution

As part of CAE’s Global Cybersecurity organization, you will serve as a trusted technical expert and strategic advisor to technology, business, and leadership teams across the enterprise.


You will help align business objectives, security requirements, regulatory obligations, and organizational risk management priorities. As an influential partner, you will guide technology decisions and provide recommendations to ensure the protection of the organization’s critical assets.

While the role does not include direct people management responsibilities, it requires strong leadership through influence within a highly matrixed environment involving multiple functions and stakeholders across the global organization.


You will support and advise managers, architects, technology teams, and project leaders to ensure that decisions are secure, practical, and aligned with business objectives. We are seeking a professional who can look beyond technology and exert meaningful influence in an environment where decisions have significant organizational impact.


The ideal candidate brings extensive cybersecurity experience and excels at building trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels. They are comfortable advocating for their position when necessary, navigating competing priorities, and operating effectively in complex organizational environments that require diplomacy, sound judgment, and political awareness.


This individual is recognized for their professionalism, integrity, and ability to engage in candid, constructive conversations.


Description
  • Serve as the lead cybersecurity expert for strategic technology domains.
  • Bridge business requirements, security needs, and organizational risk considerations.
  • Provide technical recommendations that balance security requirements with operational realities.
  • Evaluate and approve risk assessments, technology architectures, and mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to the evolution of cybersecurity standards, policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Influence technical and strategic decisions through your expertise and professional credibility.
  • Participate in architecture, governance, and risk management committees.
  • Advise business and technology teams on information security best practices.
  • Support transformation, modernization, and innovation initiatives across the organization.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging threats, evolving regulations, and industry trends.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in Information Security or Cybersecurity.
  • Proven experience working within large-scale, complex technology environments.
  • Strong understanding of risk management, security governance, and enterprise architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity risk assessment and risk management.

Preferred Qualifications
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent security certifications.
  • Experience in highly regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, critical infrastructure, or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) and IT/OT environments.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CMMC, or other recognized cybersecurity standards.
  • Strong professional judgment and credibility with both technical teams and business leaders.
  • Ability to influence and align stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
