Job Description

What you’re responsible for:

The pricing analyst acts as a key player in the development, implementation and monitoring of pricing strategies. Working closely with the sites, regional managers and the sales department, he supports field operations by ensuring smooth communication, rigorous analysis of market trends and effective implementation of pricing initiatives with the aim of increasing AIM's market share.

  • Monitoring and documenting market and price developments by region on a daily basis.
  • Supporting sites in communicating new pricing strategies and other business initiatives.
  • Using data and performance indicators (KPIs) from branches and industrial sites and recommending effective pricing strategies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conducting macro and micro analyses of the metal recycling market and regional profiles to identify purchasing trends and guide strategic decisions.
  • Leading discussions to resolve issues related to price positioning and propose possible solutions.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team for pricing campaigns and other projects related to improving AIM market share.

Qualifications

To join our team:

  • You have a bachelor's degree in administration, economics, marketing, or related field.
  • You have relevant experience in market analysis, pricing or business strategy.
  • You have excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite, more specifically Excel and data analysis tools (Power BI).
  • You have strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize.
  • You are open to business travel (about 25-30% of the time)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English
