We are presently recruiting for a 12 Months Contract Plastic Surgery Specialist, Plastics and Regenerative Medicine, to promote and sell the Allergan NATRELLE® and LifeCell™ portfolio of Breast Implants, AlloDerm (Acellular Dermal Matrix), and Fat Grafting to Plastic Surgeon’s in and around this area.  The ideal candidate will be based in Montreal, QC. The successful candidate will promote products at both private clinics and hospitals.

Reporting to National Sales Manager-PSRM, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the regional sales efforts focusing on the Plastic Surgeon community by increasing productivity of existing customers and expanding the number of surgeons using Allergan Medical Aesthetic products.  In addition, you will follow the selling and marketing strategy designed to optimize selling efforts in the territory as well as be responsible for maximizing Allergan Aesthetics’ market opportunity and share while minimizing competitive intrusion.  The incumbent is expected to present in the surgical and clinical setting to assist in the optimal use of Allergan products.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • University degree or MBA.
  • 5 years and more of sales experience in the hospital and surgical setting with demonstrated success in a technical and scientific selling environment. 
  • Thorough knowledge of practices in the Medical Device and/or pharmaceutical industry is necessary as well as an understanding of external market forces and the impact that social media has on business.
  • Operating room experience is strongly recommended.  (Asset)
  • Prior experience with Plastic Surgeons is an asset.
  • Solid business acumen, be computer savvy, a self-starter, possessing excellent presentation and communication skills as well as advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).   
  • Enterprise mindset and critical thinking skills.
  • Solid ability to take complex scientific information and translate into digestible discussion points with plastic surgeons.
  • Ability to develop strategic outlook for territory based on business analytics.
  • Prior experience with Plastic Surgeons is an asset.
  • Will require travel outside of Quebec City.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.
