This role

To drive revenue growth and platform adoption by acquiring new partners, expanding existing relationships, and ensuring partner locations are successfully onboarded to our HR and payroll platform. The role works closely with the Head of Partnerships to execute strategy and achieve team goals. This is not a maintenance role; it's a build role. You will be defining and executing the playbook for channel growth in a massive market.

Your key focus areas will be:

Partnership Acquisition & Growth

  • Own the full-cycle acquisition from prospecting to close of new, high-potential channel partners, directly fueling our expansion and market penetration.
  • Forge deep, sustainable relationships with our existing partner ecosystem, unlocking their maximum growth potential and platform adoption.
  • Serve as the expert leader in presenting our groundbreaking product value, running high-level demos, and architecting bespoke solutions for key partner decision-makers.
  • Proactively research and test innovative strategies for identifying and engaging next-generation partners to ensure a competitive advantage.

 Location Onboarding & Adoption

  • Drive the end-to-end onboarding journey for partner locations, rapidly transforming a Letter of Intent (LOI) into a seamless, high-volume live platform operation.
  • Champion our partners' success by ensuring they receive targeted, top-tier training and continuous support, maximizing their value realization and return on investment.

Collaboration & Team Alignment

  • Drive strategic collaboration with the Head of Partnerships, translating top-level partnership strategy into tactical, market-winning sales plans.
  • Orchestrate flawless coordination across internal teams (Customer Success, Marketing, Product), acting as the central nexus to ensure comprehensive and rapid partner support.

Account Management & Reporting

  • Maintain impeccable data integrity in our CRM, transforming raw data into reliable intelligence for executive strategy.
  • Deliver proactive, high-level reporting to the Head of Partnerships, providing transparent and strategic performance against ambitious commercial targets.
  • Identify, qualify, and capture significant revenue opportunities through strategic upsell and cross-sell motions across a high-value account portfolio.

Accountabilities

1. Revenue Growth

  • Achieve individual revenue targets from channel partners
  • Contribute to the overall team revenue goal set by the Head of Partnerships

2. Partner Satisfaction & Retention

  • Maintain positive partner relationships, measured by engagement and retention rates.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to partners, helping them realize value from the platform.

3. Execution & Reporting

  • Timely and accurate updates on pipeline, revenue, and onboarding status.
  • Provide insights and feedback to help refine partnership strategy.

Who you are

To thrive at Employment Hero, you’ll need to embody The EH Way – operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, you’ll also bring:

  • 3–7+ years of progressive success in a quota-carrying role within Sales, Business Development, or Account Management, preferably in the Channel Partner, SaaS, or Technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated history of over-achievement in closing new logos and driving quantifiable revenue growth.
  • Proven expertise in managing a complex portfolio of partner accounts and flawlessly coordinating multi-stage onboarding processes.
  • Direct experience operating within the Canadian market is highly desirable, including familiarity with regional business practices and sales cycles.
  • Experience managing multiple partner accounts and coordinating onboarding processes.
  • Exposure to the HR/Payroll, Fintech, or related compliance technology space is a significant asset.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand partner business needs and position solutions effectively.
  • Operationally organized and detail-oriented, with CRM and reporting proficiency.
  • Collaborative mindset; able to work with internal teams to achieve results.
