This is a high-impact, high-exposure role.  You will serve as a critical link between the Partnerships and Marketing functions.  You will learn MobSquad’s growth engine from the ground up, develop strong communication, marketing, and sales skills, and contribute meaningfully to MobSquad’s next stage of growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the Head of Partnerships and the Head of Marketing to execute sales and marketing strategies to progress prospective clients through our pipeline and ultimately grow our client base.
  • Driving prospect pipeline growth by leading new top-of-funnel prospecting initiatives and using marketing and business development tools to identify, qualify, and prioritize new client opportunities.
  • Supporting prospective client conversion through the funnel with creative outreach and engagement strategies and in-market activity execution.
  • Maintaining CRM hygiene and data integrity; updating the CRM with new developments.
  • Participating in inbound activities, including scheduling and conducting calls with prospective clients and technology professionals.
  • Collaborating with the Head of Marketing and Head of Partnerships on event planning and execution, including sourcing venues, drafting invitations, and creating guest lists.
  • Traveling to key markets with the team to represent MobSquad at conferences and events, while also supporting pre-event planning and post-event follow-up to convert engagement into closed clients.
  • Generating and presenting new ideas and opportunities for growth.
  • Contributing to ad-hoc company priorities that extend beyond sales and marketing; providing input and support for company initiatives and goals.
About You

You are proactive, organized, and excited to learn all aspects of partnerships and marketing.  You are excited by both the behind-the-scenes and the in-market elements of sales.  You are comfortable working across both strategy and execution.

Ideally, you:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Have one to three years of experience.
  • Have strong analytical skills and enjoy turning data into insights and recommendations.
  • Are detail-oriented and care about accurate and clean data as well as high-quality execution.
  • Are good with people and communicate clearly and confidently, verbally and in writing.
  • Enjoy travelling for work and are comfortable coming into the office.
  • Are motivated by MobSquad’s mission to build Canada’s innovation economy by helping high-skilled technology professionals build a life and career in Canada.
  • Believe in our values of working with integrity to achieve the highest standard of work, removing conscious and unconscious biases to ensure diversity thrives, and actively investing our time and resources into the community to make a meaningful impact.
