About The Role

The Participant Marketing Coordinator will assist in the coordination of clinical trial recruitment marketing activities and aide in the successful recruitment of full clinical trial participant panels.  The Participant Marketing Coordinator will ensure all tasks performed are executed in compliance with study protocol, Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)s.

What You'll Do Here

  • Create and execute newsletters to participants according to the brand guide.

  • Prepare, schedule, plan and optimize social media calendar and paid ads.

  • Create or coordinate with graphic designer the preparation of various marketing materials required for participant advertising.

  • Prepare geofence campaigns.

  • Prepare generic and study-specific advertising plan.

  • Keep track of pass-through budget and billing to the sponsors.

  • Respond to comments, messages and complaints from participants.

  • Produce creative marketing taglines to attract participant to targeted studies.

  • Prepare and submit IRB packages for advertising material for all sites as needed.

  • Where applicable, manage translation vendors and keep track of internal translation review.

  • Submit, track and follow up on referral program, PO requests and invoice management.

  • Provide necessary visuals to media suppliers.

  • Maintain and advocate a high level of customer service and quality within the department.

  • Ensure the confidentiality of clinical trial participants and sponsors is respected.

  • Research new media suppliers and new showrooms.

  • Prepare the KPI and metrics for participant recruitment.

  • Update regularly, various participant target lists for newsletters.

  • Assist in the maintenance and development of the participants’ website (i.e. generate landing page for specific study), including improving onsite SEO.

  • Ensure specifications of the brand guide are applied to all external and internal advertising to participants.

  • Assist with holding internal and external meetings.

  • Proactively communicate issues and/or problem resolutions to departmental supervisors and managers.

  • Assist and attend community and networking events

  • Other duties required by management.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • High School Diploma completed

  • 1 year of related experience

  • Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Suite

  • Community management proficiency

  • Experience with Social media paid ads and Marketing tools 

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and industry specific manuals.

  • Ability to write advanced reports and correspondence..

  • Excellent negotiating skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills are required.

  • Personal/professional integrity and proven discretion in handling confidential information.

  • Ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results.

  • Capable of managing multiple conflicting priorities.

  • Must be self-directed, motivated, and have a willingness to take the initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation.

  • Customer service focused, able to work in fast-paced environment.

  • The employee communicates frequently with Altasciences employees across Canada and the United States. As such, English is the main language used to correspond between offices.
