Job Description:

Role

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll be at the heart of the action. Working closely with hiring managers, you’ll help them anticipate their talent needs, define the right solutions, and implement effective sourcing strategies. You’ll also play an active role in evolving our Talent Acquisition practices, both locally and internationally.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support hiring managers in understanding their talent needs and contribute to the development of sourcing plans.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviews, candidate communication, and hiring.
  • Represent EXFO at relevant events—including career fairs, conferences, and university or professional events—to increase our visibility and build relationships with talent communities.
  • Contribute to the onboarding of new employees by helping ensure a successful transition into the organization.
  • Leverage data and AI-powered tools to enhance your searches, insights, and recommendations.
  • Contribute to workforce planning discussions by bringing market intelligence, location insights, and talent trends to the table.
  • Share best practices and collaborate with the team to strengthen our collective capabilities.
  • Test new tools and approaches to improve recruitment processes and promote high-impact practices.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute to the technological evolution of the Talent Acquisition function.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused.
  • Comfortable working with collaborative tools and AI.
  • University degree in a related field.

Proficiency in English is required for this position, as the role involves frequent oral and written communication with clients, partners, suppliers, or colleagues located outside Quebec.

Responsabilités du poste

  • Appuyer les gestionnaires dans la compréhension de leurs besoins et contribuer à l’élaboration de plans de sourcing.
  • Gérer le cycle complet de recrutement : sourcing, entrevues, communication jusqu’à l’embauche.
  • Représenter EXFO lors d’événements pertinents (foires de l’emploi, conférences, activités universitaires ou professionnelles) afin d’accroître notre visibilité et développer des liens avec les communautés de talents.
  • Contribuer à l’accueil des nouveaux employés en assurant une transition réussie.
  • Exploiter les données et outils d’IA pour enrichir vos recherches et recommandations.
  • Participer aux discussions de planification en apportant des données marché, localisation et tendances.
  • Partager vos pratiques et collaborer avec l’équipe pour renforcer les compétences collectives.
  • Tester de nouveaux outils et méthodes pour améliorer les processus de recrutement et favoriser des pratiques à fort impact.
  • Prendre part à des projets transversaux et à l’évolution technologique de la fonction.

Profil recherché

  • Expérience confirmée en acquisition de talents.
  • Bilingue (français et anglais).
  • Habile en gestion des parties prenantes et en communication.
  • Organisé(e), rigoureux(se) et orienté(e) vers l’exécution.
  • À l’aise avec les outils collaboratifs et l’IA.
  • Formation universitaire dans un domaine connexe.

La connaissance de l’anglais est requise pour ce poste, puisque ses responsabilités impliquent des échanges fréquents, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit, avec des clients, partenaires, fournisseurs ou collègues situés à l’extérieur du Québec.
