We are seeking a motivated paralegal to join our legal team and support a variety of corporate functions in a fast-paced, ever-evolving tech environment. This is a unique opportunity to broaden your business acumen by contributing to all facets of Coveo’s legal team and operations, including public company, corporate and commercial obligations.

In this generalist role, you’ll work closely with our Senior Paralegal and the broader legal team to support the smooth functioning of our legal and corporate services. You’ll collaborate with senior legal professionals and executives, contributing to the growth of our group of companies while handling a range of operational tasks. As one of our paralegals, you will, among other things
  • Generally speaking, support Coveo’s legal function (corporate, commercial, compliance and privacy), working hand in hand with Coveo’s senior legal professionals.
  • Be a subject matter expert in all things Coveo corporate, including Coveo’s corporate structure, bookkeeping of all entities within the Coveo group; and be responsible for corporate and securities filings with our Senior Paralegal.
  • Collaborate with contract lifecycle management processes, from initiation through to execution, organization and compliance management, and continuously improve contract lifecycle processes. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, HR and finance, to enable smooth business transactions, improve efficiency, streamline contractual processes, and assist with other commercial legal matters such as insurance management, KYC matters, client requests, etc.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating confidentiality agreements and a wide-range of other commercial agreements on an as-needed basis, ensuring alignment with business objectives and legal requirements.
Here is what will qualify you for the role:
  • You have been working for 2+ years as a paralegal in a law firm or in-house.
  • You have a diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in Paralegal Technology.
  • You are proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • You are proficient in English (speaking and writing).
What will make you stand out:
  • Public company experience, either in a law firm or in-house.
  • Experience with CRMs, including Salesforce.
  • Experience with SEDAR+, SEDI, TMX Linx and other platforms used by public companies.
  • You are fluent in French.
