26WD96590, Organization Effectiveness (OE) Consultant

Position Overview

Autodesk is looking for an Organization Effectiveness (OE) Consultant to help teams design, evolve, and operate more effectively. In this role, you will support organization design, transformation, and change initiatives by combining strong project management, analytical thinking, and emerging consulting skills.

Working closely with senior OE practitioners, People Business Partners, and cross-functional teams, you’ll help translate business priorities into practical organizational solutions—such as clearer structures, roles, and ways of working.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing complex projects, solving organizational problems, and building a career in organization effectiveness or internal consulting.

This is a full-time position, reporting to our OE Director. It is a hybrid role based out of our Portland, Denver, Toronto, or Montreal office.

Responsibilities

  • Support organization design, transformation, and change initiatives that improve how teams operate and deliver results

  • Partner with OE leaders and HR partners to assess organizational challenges and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Lead defined projects or workstreams, managing scope, timelines, milestones, and stakeholder communication

  • Translate business priorities into organizational solutions such as role clarity, work design, operating models, and decision-making structures, including in environments where humans and AI work together

  • Assess how advances in AI and automation may influence work design, role clarity, team structures, and decision-making, and translate those insights into practical organizational recommendations

  • Develop analyses, presentations, and recommendations to support leadership discussions and working sessions

  • Coordinate with cross-functional partners (e.g., workforce planning, HR, and business leaders) to ensure aligned execution

  • Support implementation and change efforts by tracking progress, gathering feedback, and helping teams adopt new ways of working

  • Contribute to and help manage shared tools, templates, and playbooks that strengthen Autodesk’s organization effectiveness practice

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of experience in organization effectiveness, organizational design, management or HR consulting, or a related field

  • Strong analytical, written, and presentation skills

  • Experience supporting or leading workstreams within organization design, transformation, or change initiatives

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders

  • Working knowledge of organizational systems, structures, and people practices.

  • Comfort working in dynamic, ambiguous environments with support from senior practitioners

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced degree in Organizational Development, Business, Psychology, or a related field is a plus
