About the role
- Performing Dyson’s Cisco and Meraki network deployments and operational support
- Validating third party delivery partner test plan and results to ensure compliance
- Performing network technical test validation of functional and non-functional requirements
- Validating and/or creating network implementation and regression plans where applicable
- Supporting and/or performing post go live testing to ensure that the technical solution is conformant to Dyson's network standards and designs.
- Supporting the service introduction, release and change management processes to ensure that technical deliveries are well planned and executed into DWS network operations.
- Identify improvement opportunities for future network deliveries
- Provide input and support to your Network Architect for future roadmaps
- Identify, own, and manage risks and issues relating to the network related project delivery, ensuring that mitigating actions are agreed and executed.
- Stay abreast of trends in your domain of expertise including management, technologies, sourcing, policies, procedures, and other external changes that could have an impact on your domains technical delivery at Dyson
- Build knowledge, capacity, and capability within teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Proactively drive innovation, with new ideas and options made available by new technology and process.
- Ensure that you and third-party delivery teams are working within the bounds of Dyson's policies and any global legislative compliance e.g. GDPR, PCI, Cyber Security standards etc
- Ensure technical compliance to technical design authorities and architectural principles and roadmaps.
- Providing network specialist expertise for all Digital Workplace deliveries and IT services with regards to new APAC Dyson spaces e.g. offices, research labs, education spaces etc.
Qualification
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Cisco and Meraki deployments, support, and validation
- Ownership of operational decisions and technology guidelines globally, and align them with global technical SMEs
- Highly experienced and hands-on for all Meraki products, Cisco SDWAN and SDA deployments
- Extensive technical knowledge in LAN, WAN (MPLS), Cisco Wi-Fi, Cisco datacentre LAN, telephony, ISE, DNAC, network monitoring tools, firewalls, and cloud connectivity methods, one of cloud platform will be a plus
- Create and review high-level, low-level designs for Cisco and Meraki networks
- Supporting the service introduction, release and change management processes to ensure that technical deliveries are well planned and executed into network operations
- Integration between 3rd party infrastructure and Cisco as well as Meraki networks
- Any cisco certification (like CCNA, CCNP) and Meraki certifications will be advantage
- Familiarity with network analysis tools such as SolarWinds, 1000Eyes
