A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistic

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic oversight and technical leadership across all network planning initiatives.
  • Lead and standardize network configuration and planning processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for complex network projects (e.g., station openings, capacity planning, network optimization).
  • Own and maintain the integrity of all network parameters (transit times, routing logic, sort times, etc.).
  • Collaborate with IT and Operations to drive innovation, automation, and system improvements.
  • Support the development and documentation of end-to-end network processes and planning methodologies.
  • Mentor and coach other Network Planners, ensuring alignment and knowledge sharing.
  • Act as an escalation point for operational or technical issues impacting the network.
  • Support the Manager, Network Design, in strategic planning, stakeholder communications, and network governance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree is an asset).
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in data tools and Excel/BI environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong understanding of Middle Mile operations and network optimization principles.
  • Ability to work independently and influence decisions across teams.
  • Availability for travel
  • Bilingual (French/English)
