Job Description

A career as a Network Administrator in the IT infrastructure team at AIM means acting as an expert in the continuous improvement of the quality of our network infrastructures. This job allows you to have a positive impact on our organization through your skills in deployment and operational management of Cisco, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, and Microsoft Azure platforms.

Your roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Leading the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure, ensuring its robustness and efficiency.
  • Administering a wide range of network services deployed in different countries that power our operations.
  • Contributing to the definition of standards and best practices in network design and operation.
  • Innovating in network and telecommunications infrastructure by implementing solutions based on a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Maintaining effective performance and monitoring systems, contributing to the continuous evolution of our practices.
  • Maintaining exemplary technical documentation and contributing to the culture of knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Participating in the on-call rotation for assistance outside of office hours and performing occasional maintenance operations outside of normal working hours.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in network administration.
  • Mastery of IP network basics (LAN/WAN, Layer 2, Layer 3, VPN, SDN, DHCP, DNS...).
  • Proven expertise in troubleshooting simple and complex network problems.
  • Knowledge of network flow security.
  • Knowledge of network concepts and technologies and LAN and WAN security.
  • Scripting skills for network automation.
  • Experience in implementing and managing observability and monitoring tools for network infrastructures.
  • Experience with various network technologies.
  • Significant experience with Cisco and Fortinet solutions. Experience with large network infrastructures a plus.
  • ITIL certification, an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French.
  • Results-oriented, team player.
