We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Account Manager – Independent Wholesale to accelerate growth, execution and forge strategic partnerships within the independent wholesale channel. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our independent wholesale footprint, developing strategic partnerships, delivering profitable volume growth, expanding assortment, enhancing in store visibility and management of the overall performance of the Red Bull brand within the wholesale channel. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional with experience in account management, a deep understanding of both wholesale and the beverage industry, excellent selling and negotiation skills with the passion for building and maintaining strong business relationships.

Job Description

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT & REACH (STORES SELLING) EXPANSION

Serve as the primary point of contact for independent wholesale accounts, building and maintaining strong, long-term partnerships.

Accelerate the pace at which we open new accounts, expanding the universe under our wholesale VIP program.

Develop a deep understanding of the channel, market dynamics, individual account goals and develop a channel strategy which delivers continuous growth.

Regularly visit wholesalers to ensure alignment on sales strategy, execution and drive contractual compliance.

Act as a trusted advisor to wholesalers, providing support, insights, and recommendations to optimize Red Bull performance, accelerating and outpacing category growth.

 

SALES & REVENUE GROWTH

Identify opportunities to grow revenue and increase market share within the independent wholesale channel.

Develop and execute account-specific sales plans to achieve volume and revenue targets.

Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reporting and insights to Sales Leadership Team.

Negotiate pricing, promotional activities, and contract terms with wholesale partners.

 

CHANNEL DEVELOPMENT & EXECUTION

Work closely with wholesalers to ensure proper execution of brand strategies, assortment opportunities, front end and display opportunity, marketing campaigns, and promotional programs.

Collaborate with internal teams (National Accounts, Field Sales, Category, Trade Marketing) to ensure seamless delivery of company priorities.

Provide training and tools to wholesalers to improve category knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.

Drive distribution of new product launches and ensure consistent product availability.

Work with wholesalers to obtain customer data, and with distribution teams to optimize executional performance in store.

 

MARKET ANALYSIS & REPORTING

Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for growth.

Collect feedback from wholesalers to optimize assortment offering, promotion, placement and overall business strategy.

Prepare and deliver regular performance reviews, including sales forecasts, market insights, competitive activity and category updates.

 

COMPLIANCE & BRAND STANDARDS

Ensure wholesaler partners comply with VIP program requirements, pricing structures, trade and shopper marketing guidelines.

Uphold brand standards in all aspects of product placement, marketing, and distribution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (preferred).

7+ years of account management, sales, or business development experience, ideally in the beverage or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building strong customer relationships.

Experience working with independent wholesale distributors or similar channels is highly preferred.

Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Willingness to travel frequently to visit wholesale partners and attend industry events.

Fluent in French and English.
