Area Marketing Manager NAMER

As the Marketing Manager for the NAMER region, you will own the marketing planning, budget and execution of activities working closely with the local president, senior leaders across the business and your global stakeholders. You are an active participant in the NAMER Leadership Team and the Regional Marketing Team.
You connect the global marketing campaigns and priorities with your region and countries, collaborating with colleagues across the global Marketing, Communications, Branding and Sustainability team. You will report directly to the Head of Group Marketing based in Copenhagen, Denmark

The purpose of this role is to support drive profitable growth for the NAMER region. Develop marketing and communications strategy, implement key strategic imperatives and execution plans that will help us drive marketing for demand generation, leads management and build loyalty with our customers to gain market share.

This position also contributes to the strategic assessment of new products, solutions and innovation by prioritizing and translating market and customer needs into differentiated value propositions and marketing activities. The NAMER marketing manager will also work closely with the Product and Service Marketing team to develop and deliver high-impact marketing messaging and to help launch products and solutions in our defined markets.

Your responsibilities

  • Accountable for developing and managing the NAMER marketing strategy and budget through close collaboration with sales and local leadership
  • Responsible for transforming strategies and goals into an effective regional marketing plan and activities that create opportunities for increased sales and new business opportunities
  • Responsible for planning and coordination of the creation of regional content from global campaigns and to advise on additional local campaign requirements to meet your regional needs
  • Responsible for planning, execution and follow-up of regional campaigns (collaboration with the Digital Team)
  • Accountable for collecting input and review and communicate the results and effectiveness of regional campaigns to deliver actionable insights and recommendations to regional stakeholders
  • Responsible for planning, managing and execution of exhibitions and customer events and related budgets
  • Responsible for quarterly follow-up and reporting of annual marketing activities KPI’s
  • Responsible for monitoring, reporting and communicating performance of FLS brand
  • Build the company’s brand position and competitive landscape across region NAMER
  • Support NAMER region and Global Marketing with market and competitor intelligence
  • Serve as a marketing subject matter expert to enable the regional sales team to effectively understand the customer buying journey and articulate the value of FLS products and solutions
  • Work closely with regional sales to understand and develop the segment priorities in region NAMER
  • Work with regional sales to provide them with specific value propositions and offerings for the targeted customer segments that are consistent with the sales regional business plans
  • Contribute to training sales on new solutions and value propositions and are crisp and actionable and clearly articulate how offering differentiates from the next best alternatives
  • Work with regional sales, RPLMs and global marketing to identify and develop customer stories
  • Work in close collaboration with regional sales to understand customer challenges, solutions and business needs
  • Manage suppliers to develop creative strategies and media execution where required for NAMER
  • Support management with crisis management and local media relations

What you bring

BS/BA Degree in marketing

  • 5+ or more years of experience from a similar marketing role, ideally within the mining industry or global B2B industry
  • Solid expertise in aspects of product marketing, go to market planning and execution, media, promotional tactics and campaign execution in an international organization
  • Working experience in multiple functional areas e.g. strategy, planning, content planning, production and digital marketing
  • Comfortable and experienced in marketing and developing content for technical products and services, and communicating the benefits of engineering solutions and products
  • Experience working with CRM systems and marketing tools
  • Are commercially minded with the ability to develop marketing initiatives to drive business results
  • Have a proven ability to work effectively with senior leadership, as well as teams in a cross-functional, multi-cultural environment, often with virtual teams
  • Have experience in working on projects across multiple geographies
  • Excellent command of English- must be fluent in writing as well as spoken
  • Spanish will be an advantage
