We’re looking for a highly skilled Monday.com Automation Specialist to support a U.S.-based fence construction company with improving, maintaining, and optimizing its internal systems. This role is ideal for someone who understands workflow logic, automation, and integrations, and can assist with troubleshooting, light coding, and building new automations within Monday.com.

You’ll work closely with the internal operations team to keep their systems running smoothly, build new workflows as needed, and ensure their data and boards stay updated and functional. The company relies heavily on Monday.com, Zapier, and tablets used by field teams, so clear thinking and adaptability are essential.

Key Responsibilities
Monday.com System Support
  • Review existing boards, workflows, forms, and automations to understand system logic.

  • Maintain and update Monday.com boards used across installation, project tracking, sales, and internal operations.

  • Build new boards, forms, views, and workflows upon request.

  • Troubleshoot issues when automations fail or boards break, identify root causes, and implement fixes.

Automations & Integrations
  • Create and maintain logic-based automations within Monday.com.

  • Develop and modify automations using Zapier (primary) and Make.com (secondary).

  • Connect Monday.com with third-party tools (e.g., SuperForm, SuperMail) as needed.

  • Write light JavaScript to support more advanced triggers or custom formulas inside Monday.com.

Technical Maintenance
  • Identify workflow issues quickly (with guidance from internal team).

  • Implement clean, efficient solutions that improve internal processes.

  • Provide ongoing system clean-up, optimization, and maintenance.

Daily Coordination
  • Collaborate directly with the internal operations team (Anthony & Peggy).

  • Attend quick daily or weekly check-ins to align on priorities.

  • Manage tasks independently with minimal supervision.

  • Document any changes made to workflows or automations.

RequirementsRequired Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience using Monday.com (must): building boards, automations, forms, dashboards, and using formulas.

  • Proficiency with Zapier for integrations and workflow automation.

  • Ability to write light JavaScript (for logic, formulas, and workflow triggers).

  • Experience with Make.com (bonus).

  • Strong systems thinking and logic skills.

  • Excellent English communication (spoken and written).

  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.

Nice-to-Have (Bonus)
  • Experience working with tools inside Monday.com’s marketplace (SuperForm, SuperMail, etc.).

  • Prior experience in construction, field services, or operations-heavy companies.

  • Familiarity with CRM and project tracking systems.

  • Background using tablets or mobile-first workflows.

Work Hours & Time Zone
  • Must be available during Central Standard Time (CST) working hours.

  • Monday–Friday, typically between 7am–5pm CST depending on workload.
