What You'll Do:
- Build cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, ensuring modular, extensible, and maintainable architecture.
- Modernize and refactor existing application features to enhance performance, scalability, and future-proofing by leveraging performance metrics and error monitoring platforms.
- Partner closely with product and design stakeholders to create high-performance, user-friendly features with strong visual appeal.
- Establish and maintain robust testing frameworks, reliability standards, and streamlined release processes as well as collaborate with QA to ensure testing coverage.
- Guide and develop fellow engineers while fostering an environment focused on high-quality code, creative solutions, and ongoing skill development.
- Create and maintain clear process documentation as well as contribute to development and design guidelines.
- Research emerging technologies and best practices within the React Native ecosystem; present findings to the team and influence design and technical decisions.
- Champion user experience across the product lifecycle, ensuring designs translate seamlessly into practical, engaging solutions.
Role Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years in mobile development (with 4 years of hands-on React Native expertise). Proven track record of successfully launching applications on App Store and Google Play.
- Knowledge of mobile user experience principles and the distinct characteristics of iOS and Android platforms.
- Hands-on experience with continuous integration/deployment, over-the-air updates (such as Expo), and release automation.
- Demonstrated ability to excel in dynamic startup settings—delivering quickly without compromising code quality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for knowledge sharing and team collaboration.
