Mobile Application Tester

This is a remote position.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Tester to support software development initiatives through comprehensive manual testing and quality assurance activities. The successful candidate will work closely with development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web applications.
  
• Perform manual testing of iOS applications.
  
• Perform manual testing of Android applications.
  
• Clearly communicate and document bug reproduction steps.
  
• Create and maintain regression test cases.
  
• Examine requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios.
  
• Participate in daily software testing activities to improve cloud-based software solutions.
  
• Monitor workflow within Azure DevOps and test completed development work as it becomes available.
  
• Collaborate within a Scrum team operating in 2-week sprint cycles.
  

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  
• Experience manually testing web applications.
  
• Experience manually testing iOS applications.
  
• Experience manually testing Android applications.
  
• Ability to clearly document and communicate bug reproduction steps.
  
• Ability to create and maintain regression test cases.
  
• Ability to analyze requirements and develop thorough test scenarios.
  

Nice to Have Skills

• Understanding of basic relational database design.
  
• Experience with automated UI testing using Cypress.
  
• Experience working in a Scrum environment.
  
• Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps to track work.
