Position Overview:
Velixo has already built several pre-built reporting solutions for key industries such as: Construction and Nonprofit (NFP) and is on a mission to continue bringing new industry solutions to the ecosystem that we support. To this extent, we are seeking a talented and motivated Report Developer/Analyst of mid-level seniority to join a global and remote team of ERP and Industry experts and help maintain, improve our existing solutions and also develop the next ones. 
As a Report Developer/Analyst, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining generic and dynamic financial/operational/industry-specific reports accompanied by various data automation workflows using Velixo and Excel.
The ideal candidate would have both a development and business mindset, be well-versed with accounting standards and bring significant experience in any of the following ERPs and industries:
  • ERPs: Acumatica/MYOB Acumatica, Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Industries: Manufacturing, Nonprofit, Healthcare, Professional Services
This is a hybrid position (3x per week in the office) that reports directly to the Chief Product Officer and is a unique opportunity to participate in building key reporting solutions for well-known ERP ecosystems (Sage, Acumatica, Microsoft).
Location: Montreal, Canada
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality reports using Velixo and your knowledge of ERP systems—reports should be user-friendly, generic, reliable, and error-free.
  • Test thoroughly: perform unit and QA testing on both your own reports and those created by peers, and develop repeatable test scripts to ensure scalability and consistency.

  • Continuously improve and innovate: enhance, document, and maintain a growing portfolio of impactful, game-changing reports.

  • Collaborate across teams: contribute to initiatives with Product Management, Product Marketing, Professional Services, and Training.

  • Support customer success: work closely with our Support team to ensure clients receive industry-leading assistance, while capturing feedback to drive product improvements.

  • Engage with customers and stakeholders: occasionally participate in strategic pre-sales or sales meetings to provide technical insights and showcase Velixo’s value.

Requirements:
  • You have to be a Team player!
  • Creativity, attention to detail, curiosity and problem-solving abilities are a must! We will test this.
  • Strong experience in report development for ERP software and key ERP knowledge. We will not teach the basics, we expect you already know them. Proficiency with data, APIs and reporting tools, Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills are mandatory. Ideally, you're a data and Excel expert!
  • Mid-level knowledge (5-8 years of experience) working with ERP software systems, and particularly: Acumatica / MYOB Acumatica, and Dynamics Business Central.
  • Significant expertise in at least one of the following industries: Manufacturing, Nonprofit, Hospitality, Healthcare, Professional Services. 
  • You don't need to be a CPA, but we will expect you to know the basics!
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams, partners, and customers.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote work setting.
  • Good project management skills and an understanding of agile methodology.
  • A university degree is a plus but it's not necessary, we’re very much open to self-taught and brilliant minds with experience!
Expected Outcomes:
You would be:
  • up-to-speed with the Velixo software, our plans and our teams in the first month.
  • turn concepts in reality and create revenue-generating report products in your first 6 months.
  • always ensure that each of your delivery is of quality and is always well documented.
