The Mid Confo Anim Artist ensures that all scenes meet the technical standards of the production pipeline and resolves any related issues. This role is key to maintaining Mikros Animation’s commitment to delivering world-class animated films.

• Verify continuity of shots and sequences (cameras, locations, assets, and props) throughout the pipeline.

• Track new assets produced by the modeling department and update or replace them as required.

• Collaborate with Technical Directors (TDs) to resolve technical issues efficiently.

• Prepare Maya scenes for animation, lighting, and rendering.

• Identify potential animation and FX collisions and report them to the appropriate teams.

• Prepare “Red Carpet” scenes as required.

• Ingest caches from Previz and align production assets (characters, environments, and cameras) with previz.

• Attend and participate in shot reviews.

• Excellent knowledge of Maya.

• Strong attention to detail and technical problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to prioritize, follow instructions, and meet deadlines.

• Team player comfortable collaborating across multiple departments.

• Comfortable performing non-creative/administrative/clerical tasks.

• Bilingual (English and French).

Optional Skills

• Knowledge of Shotgun and Katana.

• Experience scripting in Python/MEL.

The person in this role will work closely with our Paris studio in a bilingual environment, as well as with international partners, talent, and clients. They will regularly interact with non-French-speaking stakeholders across various productions and strategic communications, in order to present and promote the creative and technical strengths of Mikros Animation on a global scale.
