This Position reports to:

R&D Team Lead
 

As a Mechanical Test Engineer Intern, you will be involved in product development through the execution of experimental trials and testing of concepts proposed by the engineering team. Please note that we would ideally like an eight‑month intern.

Your responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of samples and the execution of laboratory tests and trials.

  • Record test results and write reports.

  • Update certification databases (instrument usage, product information, etc.).

  • Support instrument calibration (liaising with suppliers, packaging, shipping, receiving, etc.).

  • Support product certification and characterization.

Requirements:

  • Education: Student in a DEC or bachelor’s program in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Skilled in handling measuring instruments and mechanical tools.

  • Knowledge of MS Office software.

  • Ability to travel to our plant in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu (internship is primarily in-person).
