We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to help design, assemble, and test mechanical systems and prototypes that improve last-mile logistics operations. This is a unique opportunity to apply your engineering skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your work directly supports operational excellence across the Intelcom network.
Responsibilities
· Design, prototype, assemble, and test mechanical systems
· Develop project plans, business cases, and technical specifications.
· Document systems to support installation and usage.
· Take ownership of project components and ensure successful delivery
· Participate in site visits to sorting stations and assist with technology integration.
· The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
· Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
· Skilled in 3D printing, with softwares like Bambu Lab.
· Experiene with CAD software, including Fusion 360 or SolidWorks.
· Knowledge of systems with a foundation in electronics programming.
· Strong documentation and organizational skills.
· Attention to detail, creativity, and manual dexterity.
