A Day in the LifeThe Marketing Manager will lead strategy and execution for the Endoscopy and Surgical Robotics portfolios, driving growth through strong market insight, positioning, and cross-functional collaboration. This role partners closely with Sales, Clinical, and Product teams to develop compelling value propositions, support launches, and accelerate adoption across the customer journey. The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with the ability to translate complex technologies into clear, customer-focused messaging.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Formulates and reviews corporate short and long-range plans, goals, and objectives for specific product or product line.
  • Conducts competitive product analysis and market research of product consumer behavior and professional audience.
  • Determines the profitability and viability of new products or product enhancements.
  • Develops production and marketing strategies and tactics to ensure effective product placement relative to market opportunity, working closely with product development for a specific product, brand, or product area over its entire life cycle.
  • Works with other functions to finalize product specifications.
  • Provides advertising with core brand equity.
  • Serves as technical adviser, demonstrating products and troubleshooting product issues.
  • Responsible for reporting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR) 
  • Recommend pricing strategies, communicate pricing status and changes to 
    appropriate stakeholders and management of the pricing portfolio for the product area 
  • Work with other organizational stakeholders to develop the product specific programs needed to increase product adoption within the various core marketing channels: physicians, educators, retail and direct to consumer. 
  • Manage expenses directly related directly to the product (demos, samples, costs for the development and production of product specific core materials and communications) 
  • On-going surveillance and analysis of market trends and competitive activity within the product area. 
  • Manage product line profitability to AOP. Review progress against AOP on quarterly basis and revise plans or institute corrective action as appropriate. 
  • Meet with customers to discuss market, products, trends or needs and obtain their input. As well, identify unmet customer needs and business opportunities. 
  • Monitor and report on metrics and performance
  • Partner with Medical Affairs and Training and Education teams to execute training events, KOL development and evidence strategies
  • Develop strategic tender road map and strategies for portfolio responsibilities

Salary Hiring Range: $109292 - $136615

Communication and Influence: Represents organization as a primary contact for specific projects and initiatives; communicates with internal and external customers and vendors at various levels .
May negotiate with others to reach understanding or agreement, and influence decision-making.

Leadership and Talent Management: Typically provides guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area.
Typically manages major / moderately complex projects, involving delegation of work and review of work products, at times acting as a team leader.

Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires mastery of a specialty area and full knowledge of industry practices, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
May have broad knowledge of project management.
Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
