As Head of Automation, you will be responsible for maintaining the functionality and safety of all stage automation systems, ensuring smooth and safe operations during rehearsals and performances, as well as providing leadership in a dynamic production environment.

⚓ RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Performer Flying using a 3 Point hoist system.
  • Possess extensive familiarity with Arlacon or equivalent automation technology.
  • Showcase a proven track record in managing live production shows, including flying set pieces, revolves, lifts, and pits.
  • Oversee the maintenance and functionality of all automation systems.
  • Conduct thorough safety inspections or equipment to ensure the safety of performers and crew members.
  • Implement protocols for the safe operation of automation equipment during rehearsals and performances.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in creating and enforcing risk assessments to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks associated with automation operations.

⚓ REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 21 years old
  • Relevant ship experience is preferred
  • Good level of English language
  • Ship experience is preferred
  • Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with guests, department heads and crewmembers to foresee and resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
