As a Broadcast Manager, you will lead our shipboard team of Entertainment Media Specialists (Broadcast Technicians) and Digital Content Specialists in delivering the best Broadcast Television and Digital Signage experience at sea. This position requires significant broadcast experience both at sea and on land, along with strong technical expertise, leadership, and problem-solving skills to ensure seamless onboard broadcasting operations.

⚓ RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The Broadcast Manager is responsible for overseeing the Broadcast Centre, ensuring the proper operation of all ship-wide TVs, video walls, and digital signage. This includes editing and filming the daily show, scheduling TV programs, repositioning the satellite, and maintaining equipment.
  • The role also involves leading the team, ensuring content accuracy, and providing technical support. The Broadcast Manager reports to the Technical
  • Manager and plays a key role in delivering high-quality visual experiences for guests and crew.
  • Lead and manage the broadcast team, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality output.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, provide guidance, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between team members for seamless production and broadcasting.
  • Oversee all ship wide TVs, video walls, and digital signage to ensure proper functionality.
  • Film and edit the daily show, ensuring its accuracy and timely broadcast.
  • Schedule and manage TV programs, keeping an updated programming schedule.
  • Ensure background music (BGM) is correct and distributed to the appropriate devices.
  • Provide technical support for public screen content, adjusting video fidelity, brightness.
  • etc.
    ⚓ REQUIEREMENTS:
    • Minimum 21 years old
    • Relevant ship experience is preferred
    • Good level of English language
    • Ship experience is preferred
    • Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with guests, department heads and crewmembers to foresee and resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
