Your role as Manager, Special Projects

We are seeking a hyper-organized, strategic and detail-oriented individual to support the COO as Manager of Special Projects. In this role, you will function as the Chief of Staff to the COO overseeing both Go-to-Market (GTM) and Service Operations departments. It requires exceptional judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex, high-impact initiatives with precision and discretion. You’ll partner closely with the COO and executive team to drive strategic projects forward, influence decision-making, and ensure flawless execution. Success means anticipating needs, prioritizing effectively, and consistently delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

This is a highly dynamic and visible role ideal for someone with excellent judgment, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence and collaborate across senior levels.

What you'll be doing

  • Partner closely with the COO on high-priority strategic initiatives, providing analysis, synthesis, and execution support to drive impact across Go-to-Market and Operations
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and sounding board on key decisions (i.e. pricing, RFP strategy, new program design, efficiency opportunities, and service development)
  • Translate the COO’s vision and objectives into concrete action plans, ensuring accountability, clarity, and timely follow-through. Ensure decisions made at the COO level are clearly cascaded, understood, and acted upon across all relevant teams.
  • Prepare materials and briefing documents for Board of Directors meetings, including GTM update presentation
  • Support the preparation of internal and external communications for the COO, ensuring tone, clarity, and alignment with the company’s strategic direction.
  • Lead or support special initiatives as assigned by the COO from operational pilots and process redesigns to cross-functional change management and internal communications.

We'd love to hear from you if you have

  • Based in Montreal and bilingual (English and French)
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, chief-of-staff, or senior program/project leadership roles
  • Proven experience working directly with C-level executives and Boards
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting executive-level messaging
  • Strong project management capability, able to drive complex, cross-functional initiatives from idea through to execution
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated discretion and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
  • A strategic, proactive, resourceful, and collaborative mindset
  • Required to be in the office at least 4 days a week

Please note that as we serve customers across Canada, bilingualism is essential for this position. You may be required to communicate in French and English.
