The summary above was generated by AI

Lead an effective team that uses data science to support actuarial rate-making. Your responsibilities will include the strategy and delivery of automated Azure pipelines for segmentation and internal rate groups, as well as data architecture steering. You will also serve as the product owner for the Agile Business Intelligence 1.0 squad, while acting as the internal reference for statistical modelling and data infrastructure. You’ll connect R&D with the business sectors, apply research in operations and ensure that the models are ready for production before they’re transferred to the rate-making function for commercialization. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Create, maintain and develop automated pipelines in Microsoft Azure used for analyzing the segmentation of home and auto products in individual insurance.

  • Design and steer the data architecture that supports rate-making and product goals.

  • Serve as product owner for the Agile Business Intelligence 1.0 squad, including backlog management, sprint planning, delivery metrics and stakeholder alignment.

  • Serve as an advisor and subject matter expert in statistical modelling and data infrastructure for business units.

  • Lead training and implementation initiatives to encourage the adoption of new modelling techniques and technologies.

  • Connect R&D with the business sectors: Identify value-creation opportunities and apply research results in production workflows.

  • Support the actuarial rate-making function in preparing the appendixes required for filings in regulated markets.

  • Be responsible for the models until they’re delivered to the rate-making function for commercialization (performance, robustness, governance and documentation).
