As part of the Solutions 2 GO family, Distribution Axessorize (AXS) is a leading mobile accessory brand known for delivering innovative, high-quality mobile and consumer electronic accessories. Scope:

Own the freight *Own the 3PL relationship *Own your seat at the table!

Freight puzzles. Vendor chess. The occasional plot twist when a shipment decides to take the scenic route. If that sounds like your kind of Tuesday, keep reading — because we're looking for someone who doesn't just manage logistics, they own it. This is a role for someone who gets a genuine kick out of solving the puzzle before anyone else even sees it. You'll run freight strategy, be the accountable owner of our 3PL relationship, and sit close enough to leadership that your recommendations actually shape decisions — not just execute them.

As a bonus plot twist, you'll also cross-train into forecasting and purchasing — not to own it day-to-day, but so you're the trusted backup who can step in without missing a beat if that seat ever needs covering. Think of it as building your own understudy skillset while staying the lead in your own show.

Why This Role?

  • Real ownership over a function — you shape how it runs, not just how it's executed
  • A direct line to leadership — your ideas and recommendations actually move things
  • Variety built in — freight strategy one day, vendor negotiation the next, forecasting cross-training after that
  • Room to grow as the role grows — this isn't a static job description, it's a starting point

Skills & Qualifications

Logistics Strategy

  • Own the logistics function end-to-end — full accountability for strategy, performance, and outcomes
  • Lead freight contract negotiations and carrier strategy; source new carriers/vendors
  • Spot cost/service tradeoffs before they become problems, not after
  • Build and own KPI reporting that actually tells a story (on-time delivery, freight cost per unit, damage/claims rate)

3PL Ownership

  • Own the 3PL relationship and its overall performance — you're the accountable owner, full stop
  • Lead quarterly business reviews that drive real improvement, not just status updates
  • Manage 3PL projects (relabeling, packaging changes, and whatever curveball comes next)

Forecasting and Purchasing - Your Understudy Role

  • Learn the demand forecasting and purchasing process inside and out, alongside our Forecast & Purchasing Planner
  • Be the trusted backup during absences or peak periods — the person we know can step in seamlessly
  • Stay current on POs, vendor terms, and forecasting methodology so continuity is never a question
  • Partner on inventory decisions where freight and logistics realities matter (bundled SKU ordering, consolidated shipments)

Strategic Partnership

  • Anticipate what's needed before anyone has to ask
  • Jump into cross-functional coordination and ad hoc strategic asks without blinking
  • Represent Operations in cross-functional conversations with real judgment and autonomy

What Makes a Great Fit:

  • Bachelor's degree degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Five to eight years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations, ideally including 3PL management
  • Genuinely enjoy learning new territory — cross-training into forecasting/purchasing sounds fun to you, not like extra homework
  • Know your way around Incoterms, freight contracts, and vendor negotiation
  • Have a track record of turning ambiguous, messy problems into real structure and process
  • Are sharp with Excel and comfortable in an ERP system (NetSuite a plus)
  • Bring a proactive, strategic mindset — you'd rather ask forgiveness than permission (within reason)

The successful candidate will receive a conditional offer, contingent upon the successful completion of a background check conducted by our contracted third-party vendor. The specific clearance requirements vary by position and may include one or more of the following: criminal background check, credit check, employment verification, education verification, and driver’s abstract review. If you have any questions along the way, please do not hesitate to ask.

Solutions 2 GO and AXS are equal opportunity employers. Accommodations are available on request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection process.
