Job Description

At CAE, our manufacturing teams play a key role in transforming innovative concepts into advanced products.

In this strategic role, you will lead a multi-year manufacturing transformation, focused on modernizing operations, improving flow, and enhancing overall performance.

You will work in a complex and fast-paced environment where leadership and operational excellence are critical.


Duties & Responsibilities
Operations & Flow Optimization
  • Redesign workspaces, production cells and logistics areas.
  • Support transformation projects across manufacturing, assembly and testing.

Standardization & Digital Manufacturing
  • Develop and deploy standard work and planning processes.
  • Support digital manufacturing tools rollout (MES, digital instructions).

Material Flow & Inventory
  • Improve internal logistics and material handling.
  • Support inventory reduction initiatives.

Lean & Performance Management
  • Implement Lean principles across operations.
  • Develop and maintain operational KPIs.

Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead and develop industrial engineering teams.
  • Ensure alignment between Engineering, Supply Chain and Production.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in complex manufacturing environments.
  • Proven experience in leadership and transformation initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in manufacturing transformation programs.
  • Lean / Six Sigma expertise.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • Stakeholder management and influence skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Team leadership and development experience.
