A strategic role to drive data use, help an engaged team grow and actively contribute to our transformation. This position reports to the Individual Insurance Transformation Administrative Department. As Manager, Analytics and Data Valorization, you play a key role in defining, developing and implementing the sector-specific data strategy. You are responsible for maximizing the value of data for members and clients by supporting operations and distribution through innovative, high-performance analytics solutions. You have extensive expertise in business intelligence, advanced analytics and data governance. You understand operational issues and are known for your ability to build strong business partnerships, prioritize needs and mobilize high-performance teams. More specifically, you will be required to :
Define, implement and update the Individual Insurance Division’s sector data strategy.
Ensure alignment between business priorities and data valorization and analytics initiatives.
Understand operations and distribution processes so you can identify opportunities for data optimization.
Define analytics use cases and help develop and roll them out.
Implement a robust and scalable data architecture to support the production of reports and indicators.
Develop and implement a report production automation strategy.
Oversee data quality, governance and valorization for the sector.
Identify opportunities for using AI, maintain active monitoring and represent Desjardins on industry panels and forums.
Act as the designated Data and Analytics Officer for the sector.
Work closely with IT teams to develop the analytics ecosystem.
Develop and motivate a high-performance, innovative and engaged team.
Provide proactive, engaging communication at every level.
Be responsible for implementing and updating the indicators developed for sector-specific projects.

What you bring to the table
Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field
A minimum of eight years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a management role
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Experience in business intelligence, advanced analytics and AI
Proven experience building business relationships and influencing stakeholders
Postgraduate-level qualification in information technology, analytics or actuarial science
Knowledge of French required
In-depth knowledge of data governance, management and valorization
