The LPI Level 2 maintains the dark room, performs tests, calibrates equipment, and coaches LPI Level 1 employees, while ensuring inspection efficiency.
Responsibilities JOB SUMMARY
Maintains dark room.
DUTIES/RESPONSABILITIES- Contacts Level III to inform of problems on specific parts.
- Establishes techniques to ensure the efficiency of the controlled product.
- Interprets visual indicators and documents results.
- Calibrates equipment.
- Conducts tests.
- Applies testing criteria as per existing norms and specifications and evaluates the results.
- Compiles the results of the tests and prepares reports.
- Provides on-the-job coaching to LPI Level I employees
- Performs all the duties of LPI level 1
- Performs other duties as required.
- Respects the values and code of ethics of the company.
- Respects the Environment, Health & Safety programs of the company.
- Must be certified Level II and have a minimum of two years’ experience in florescent penetrant inspection.
- Possess a Technical College degree or equivalent.
