We are seeking a Logistics Optimization Intern to support our Vice President of Operations in driving strategic and operational projects. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in performance analysis, process optimization, and last-mile project management.
Responsibilities
Analyze delivery performance data, including KPIs, costs, lead times, and service quality.
Support the preparation of reports and presentations for leadership.
Assist in optimizing operational processes such as route monitoring, flow management, and SLA compliance.
Participate in researching and implementing innovative solutions, including new technologies, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, IT, finance) and external partners (carriers and vendors).
Stay informed on best practices in last-mile logistics.
The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a related field.
Proficient in Excel and Power BI.
Strong analytical skills with an eagerness to learn and contribute to process improvements.
Rigorous, autonomous, and proactive mindset.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
