The opportunity
As Lead UX/UI Designer, reporting to the Head of Products, you will define how users engage with dcbel’s ecosystem across mobile, web, and embedded interfaces, making sustainable energy choices simple, intuitive, and delightful. You’ll have the opportunity to blend creativity with the latest design practices, including smart, AI-powered design processes, to set new standards for user experience in the energy sector.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Design experience across all user interfaces, mobile, web, embedded interfaces across energy assets and appliances
- Leverage product insights, customer inquiry and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Interpret AI-driven design inputs and translate them into intuitive, visually compelling solutions.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing to formalize distinctive and consistent visual design systems across product identities.
- Lead a small team of designers to deliver coherent dev-ready assets in a fast-paced environment.
Key requirements
- 8+ years of experience, 3 years of leading a team of designers
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, computer science, design & visual communication, UI/UX design or related field.
- Proven application of user-centered design methodologies and experience with Figma,
- Ability to initiate and provide strong product know-how for a wide range of end-user applications.
- Designed and developed consumer products in mobile/web app or embedded systems experiences.
- Exceptional portfolio showcasing design systems and product design work of consumer-facing apps, hardware/software integration
