About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager supporting the Currency Transaction Regulatory Reporting Product (CTR) team within the Chief Operating Office (COO). This role will be responsible, as an experienced Product Owner, for leading fulfillment and product support through multiple cross-functional teams using principles and practices of Lean and Agile to drive and deliver sustainable solutions for complex initiatives. This role will specifically be working with more technical aspects of product development and Enterprise Technical Change Inventory Initiatives and vendor upgrades, patching, and application support. In this role, you will:
  • Collaborate and consult with managers, stakeholders, scrum masters, project managers, and delivery team to resolve issues and achieve project goals
    • Define and refine user stories, ensuring acceptance criteria is clearly understood and met, and execute test strategies
  • Implement change delivery solutions for the portfolio's technology process
    • Enterprise Technology Change Inventory (TCI) and Vulnerability items
    • Vendor Management
  • Lead complex initiatives including establishing marketing programs for new products or enhancements
    • Communicate and monitor strategic goals, objectives and key results (OKRs), and performance indicators that make up the 6-quarter roadmap, composed of product epics and with a risk-and-compliance focus
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a mentor to less experienced staff including providing training related to project lifecycle processes and product ownership duties
  • Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations of regulatory impact
    • Requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solution and plans
    • Maintain strong relationships with internal partners including Automated Teller Machine (ATM), Community Bank (CB), Consumer Investment Bank (CIB), Consumer Lending (CL), Consumer, Small Business, and Banking (CSBB), Financial Crimes Legal (FCL), Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM), Hogan, TellerView, and Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) on critical transformation related items to ensure successful completion of onboarding data including ensuring regulatory requirements are met
  • Manage risk and control processes as well as support product portfolio to meet deliverables and drive initiatives
    • Assist on special assignments for the department, Audit, regulators, and OCC, regarding any data within Currency Transaction Regulatory Reporting Product Team (CTR)
  • Review and analyze complex major product lines and services
    • Perform assessments through fact finding, and data, requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues including developing appropriate recommendations and solutions

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of product management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with Currency Transition Reporting processes and procedures
  • Proficient Wells Fargo applications, systems, and tools skills including Actimize (CTR application), Agile Registry, ATM, Cash Vault, Hogan, JIRA, and Teller View/SVT/Branch Banking skills
  • Ability to be creative, innovative, and proactive in meeting enterprise needs
  • Ability to collaborate and execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple initiatives, priorities, and projects

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing internal and external stakeholders,
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills including the ability to adapt to multiple audiences
  • Financial services experience
  • Demonstrated experience with audit, independent testing & validation, exam management and/or controls
  • Demonstrated experience with regulatory remediation efforts including researching impacts to the enterprise resulting from changes in laws or regulations and developing a company response
  • Process efficiency experience, including process assessment, and recommendations for improvement including large-scale process transformation initiatives
  • Experience with Agile methodology of project delivery
  • Demonstrated experience with project management including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently while leading large complex enterprise-level initiatives and implementations
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile practices and frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, etc.) including workflow and collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA
  • Demonstrated experience with Wells Fargo Change Management processes and procedures
  • Experience in Artificial Intelligence, Chatbot, Distributed Computing, Virtual Assistant, and other AI tools and use cases
  • Knowledge and understanding of business requirements gathering and translation to technical requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology testing including non-functional requirements, technical debit, and vulnerabilities
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Teams) skills
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Adhere to standards outlined with written policy as well as applicable State and Federal regulations
  • Flexibility to be on call beyond normal work hours as assigned
