We’re looking for a Product Design Leader to shape the future of our platform experience. In this role, you’ll champion holistic design thinking, drive the evolution of our design system, and lead initiatives that balance user needs, business goals, and technical realities. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how users interact with our products—guiding research, elevating usability, and ensuring accessibility and inclusivity are at the core.
Your responsibilities will include:
Product Experience & Design Leadership
- Champion holistic product thinking by considering how new features integrate with and impact existing workflows, ensuring design decisions contribute to a coherent and scalable platform experience.
- Define and own the design system ensuring visual and interaction consistency across our platform.
- Lead design initiatives across multiple modules, from discovery to delivery.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Technical Business Analysts, and Tech Leads during feature shaping to align design with business logic and technical feasibility.
- Guide design prioritization to balance user needs, business goals, and delivery constraints.
- Coach and mentor Product Designers, fostering skill growth and design excellence across the team.
User Research & Usability
- Integrate UX writing and microcopy into the design process, ensuring that in-product language is clear, empathetic, and aligned with the user context.
- Shape and drive research efforts to gather insights from end-users (customers, ESG analysts, etc.).
- Translate user feedback into actionable design iterations and UX enhancements.
- Contribute to usability testing plans, metrics definition, and product instrumentation for UX KPIs.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Act as the design voice in the shaping triangle (PM – UX – Tech Lead).
- Coach and mentor other designers, driving excellence in UX craft and methodology.
- Collaborate with AI/ML and Data teams to explore and define human-AI interaction models.
Design Operations & Governance
- Own the scalability of design practices and documentation across teams.
- Implement design reviews and rituals that drive feedback, alignment, and velocity.
- Ensure accessibility and inclusivity are embedded in design processes.
What we’re looking for:
- 7+ years of experience in product design, including enterprise SaaS.
- 3+ year in working experience as a Lead UX;
- Proven experience leading design in complex, data-rich products.
- Strong UI craft and UX thinking from systems to microinteractions.
- Experience working with or building design systems.
- Excellent collaboration skills with product, engineering, and data teams.
- Familiarity with tools like Figma and prototyping environments.
- Experience with ESG, reporting, compliance, or data-intensive workflows (an asset).
